The world’s best metal type,
Jikji printing, is being demonstrated.

It is of great historical value that a book was printed with metal movable type at Hwangdeoksa Temple in Cheongju in 1377.

In the Joseon Dynasty, there are many books from the Joseon Dynasty, including Ga In-ja,

that metal type is probably the

only book from the Goryeo Dynasty. Jikji.
So, the original title of Jikji is Jikji Simcheyojeol.

For short, we call it Jikji.

Jikji is the seoneorok of the Buddha and the Koreans.
